The Volunteer Training and Development Centre of the Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) established in 2004.With an ultimate goal to provide comprehensive and diversified training for volunteers, volunteer user agencies and volunteer organizations to enhance the quality and professionalism of volunteer service.

To cater for a great demand on training needs, experienced volunteers will be selected, trained and organized to give talks, conduct trainings and produce training materials on volunteer service.You will also be invited to render assistance in monitoring and supervising volunteers.Projects that you may participate in are: Family Volunteering Scheme, V-care Volunteer Aid Campaign, Management of Resource Corner and Training Programme, etc.

We’re looking for volunteers who are / have:

At least 3 years experience on programme planning

• Or 2 years experience on training;
• least 2 years experience on volunteer service
• Leadership and organization skill; able to work independently
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willing to face new challenges and learn
• Willing to participate in at least one volunteer training programme within one year commitment. (Programme duration: average 16 hours in 4 sessions)
• Willing to attend interview and participate in trainers training courses and attend working group meetings of joined projects.
