Alain Yip made his debut in the 70's and became one of the first Chinese professionals in Hong Kong to break the monopoly by foreign photographers in the fashion scene. He founded his own enterprise in photography and established the "Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers (HKIPP)". The Collection includes more than 300 pictures of models like Cora Miao, Cherie Chung, Maggie Cheung, Do Do Cheng, Cecilia Yip, Lee San San, Athena Chu, Jacqueline Law, Ellen Chan, Myolie Wu, Sonija Kwok, Shirley Yeung, Tavia Yeung, Linda Chung, Kate Tsui, Fala Chen and so on. In addition to the exquisite portraits, there are also masterpieces of landscape which amply illustrate Alain's unique creativity and perception. The Photo Album - De Luxe edition altogether 240 pages entire colour printing will be published at 13 September 2007, throughout the Joint Publishing, the Chung Hwa Book, the Commercial Press and others bookstore in Hong Kong. The Collector's Limited Edition features a special cover design, with the title page individually mounted with one Alain's masterpiece and his autograph. Included as a free gift will be a 2008 calendar entitled "Alain Yip's 30th Anniversary". There are only 300 copies of the Limited Edition and there will be no re-print.
