| Western Garden Social Centre for the Elderly was established in March 1990. It provides services to the elderly aged 55 or above living in Central and Western district in Hong Kong. The primary objective of the centre is to promote the well-being and to mutual support of the elderly people by helping them make constructive use of their leisure time; build social network and participate in community affairs. Another important objective is to provide service opportunities for volunteers to serve the elderly and to promote the elderly to serve the community. |

- Social & Recreational Activities
Encourage the elderly members to participate in various indoor and outdoor activities to widen their scope of life. Such as: picnic, visits, birthday party, songs competition, etc..
- Health information and Health activities
Provide health information to the elderly members and to organize health activities such as health talk, health check-up, and morning exercise to promote their awareness to personal health.
- Learning Group
Provide learning opportunities to the members to help them make use their leisure time constructively. e.g. English class, Chinese class, Mandarin class and news reading.
- Interest Group
Organize various interest groups to develop the interest of elderly members, such as Chinese singing group, Calligraphy group , Painting group , Chinese dancing group, etc..
- Volunteer Service
Women volunteer group; Elderly volunteer group and Hair cutting volunteer service group.
- General Service
Personal service such as letter writing, personal enquiry service.
- Centre Facilities
Gymnastic equipment, television , newspapers, rest room.

- Senior Citizens aged at 55 or above are welcome to be a member of the Centre
- Produce valid personal identity certificate & One photo sized 20 mm x 30 mm
- Pay annual membership fee $21.00
- Fill in the membership application form and return to the Centre in person
